Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will be working closely with various teams throughout all phases of product development and testing for multiple key aerospace programs. In this role, you will be responsible for circuit design, analysis, board layout, hardware debugging, and testing. The main products will be Ground Based Stations and Battery Management Systems and related test equipment. May manage large projects or processes that are both inside and outside of the immediate job area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and select electrical and electronic components based on technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Schematic Design, Layout, and Troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for cable harness design.
  • Work closely with disciplines such as systems, mechanical design, supply chain, to ensure PCB can be built and meets requirements.
  • Provide Analysis for Power/Signal Integrity, Mixed Signal, ADCs and DACs.
  • Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Part Lists for accuracy and compliance.
  • Work with Digital/FPGA team to implement proper floor planning.
  • Interface with component databases, manufacturers, and distributors for sourcing and obsolescence data.
  • Use ERP systems (preferably Deltek Costpoint) to manage part data and component procurement.
  • Participate in Electrical/ Electronic/ Electromechanical (EEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments related to hardware manufacturing and testing. Assignments will include technical evaluation and support of manufacturing issues/concernsl
  • Support engineering change orders (ECOs) and related documentation updates.
  • Ensure all selected components comply with regulatory standards (RoHS, ITAR, etc.).
