Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,230 to $2,321 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital Emergency Department.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the ED, including triage, treatment, and discharge planning for patients from newborns to geriatrics
- Perform timely assessment, monitoring, medication administration, IV therapy, and management of indwelling lines and blood products
- Interpret ECG rhythms, respond to life-threatening emergencies, and participate in Code Blue, Code Stroke, Sepsis, and Trauma activations
- Review and complete orders accurately, document care legibly and promptly, and provide medication teaching and discharge instructions
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, operate and assess monitoring equipment, and follow established chain of command and policies
- Collaborate with the ED team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
Requirements
- Current RN license in California
- Education: ADN/AS required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience: At least one year of acute care experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Trauma/ER-specific: TNCC required within 6 months of hire
- Additional: EPIC EMR experience required; NIHSS knowledge/experience required
