A full-time Pharmacist opportunity is available at a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital in Sacramento, CA. This contract position offers the potential to transition to permanent employment. The assignment is expected to start within approximately 2-3 weeks and will last for 13 weeks, with a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, monitoring pharmacokinetics, and supporting overall pharmacy operations to ensure safe and effective medication use for patients in a rehabilitation setting.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Valid California pharmacist license
  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a rehab or acute care environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to oversee pharmacy technicians effectively
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent patient care
