Robotics Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Travel locally to perform maintenance and repairs on robots at client locations
  • \n

  • Conduct routine inspections, technical debugging, cleaning, and repairs
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, often collaborating with our technical team
  • \n

  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repairs using internal tools
  • \n

  • Operate hand and power tools, ranging from allen wrenches to angle grinders
  • \n

  • Prioritize and schedule repairs independently in a fast-paced environment
  • \n

  • Manage shipping and receiving of robots and parts for servicing
  • \n

  • Train servicing agents at remote sites as needed
  • \n

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and maintain healthy inventory levels
  • \n

  • Detail debugging reports for complex fixes, capturing root cause, diagnostic steps, resolution, and lessons learned for long-term record-keeping and knowledge sharing.
  • \n

  • Working knowledge of PC troubleshooting and diagnostics, including hardware, OS-level issues, and network connectivity basics.
  • \n

Qualifications:

\n

    \n
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining industrial robots.
  • \n

  • Highly organized self-starter with a demonstrated personal system for managing tasks, tracking open issues, and prioritizing work independently without relying solely on supervisor direction.
  • \n

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Jira, and work order (WO) management platforms for documentation and task tracking.
  • \n

  • Experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical field
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
  • \n

  • Comfortable working independently or in small teams with minimal supervision
  • \n

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • \n

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • \n

Schedule:

\n

    \n
  • Typical hours: 11am–7pm, Monday–Friday (occasional earlier/later shifts depending on workload)
