Optometric Assistant
We are looking for an optometric technician/assistant to join our practice. The position requires working on Saturdays from 9:00-5:00 pm. Desired individual must be friendly, positive, with good communication skills. Must be able to multi-task and provide excellent customer service skills. Must be self-motivated and demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve their skills on a daily bases. Job duties include greeting and checking in patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, pre-testing, insurance verification, contact lens training, and frame selection/dispensing/adjustments/repair. Prior experience in an optometry practice or optical a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Spanish speaking a plus.
