Workflow & Tooling Coordinator
Pay Rate: $27.00 – $29.00 / hour
Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: On-site (Machine Shop)
Position Summary
We are seeking an organized and motivated Workflow & Tooling Coordinator to support our machine shop operations. In this role, you will collaborate with the Workflow Specialist to collect operational data, keep the tool crib stocked, prep tooling for operators, and assist with continuous improvement (5S & Kaizen) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Support: Assist the Workflow Specialist in gathering operational data needed for daily work planning.
- Tooling & Inventory: Organize, stock, and maintain the tool crib; gather and distribute necessary tooling to operators to ensure seamless job completion.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in 5S projects and Kaizen events across the machine shop.
- Record & Data Management: Maintain accurate computer records and track inventory levels.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficient computer skills and comfortable with basic data collection.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn manufacturing processes.
- Previous machine shop, warehouse, or tool crib experience is a plus.
