Role Description The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with treatments and procedures. The LVN will support daily patient activities such as hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures while documenting care, observations, and patient responses in accordance with facility policies. The role includes collaborating with the care team, communicating changes in patient condition, and reinforcing patient and family education on care plans and discharge instructions. The LVN will adhere to infection control standards, maintain accurate medical records, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Los Angeles, CA.

Qualifications

  • Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing
  • \n

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred depending on unit
  • \n

  • Experience providing direct patient care in a hospital, clinic, or long-term care setting
  • \n

  • Strong clinical skills in medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and basic wound care
  • \n

  • Ability to accurately document patient care and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members
  • \n

  • Knowledge of infection control practices, patient safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations
  • \n

  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited vocational nursing program
  • \n

  • Willingness to work required shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • \n
