$20–$25/hour | Full-Time | In Person
Le Petit Elephant Nursery & Preschool (LPE) is Napa’s premier outdoor-based, Spanish/English bilingual early childhood program. We are seeking a warm, attentive, and dependable Infant/Toddler Teacher who values respectful, relationship-based care and understands the unique needs of young children.
What You'll Do
- Provide responsive, nurturing care for infants (0–17 months) and/or toddlers (18–36 months)
- Follow each child’s individual feeding, sleeping, and developmental rhythms
- Maintain a safe, calm, engaging classroom with active supervision
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and teaching teammates
- Support our RIE-inspired, respectful approach to early childhood care
- Spend time outdoors with children in all safe weather conditions
Qualifications
- 12 ECE/CD units, including Infant/Toddler coursework (or currently enrolled)
- Experience working with infants/toddlers in a licensed childcare setting required
- Knowledge of infant/toddler development and responsive caregiving
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Ability to work outdoors daily
