The Production Machine Operator plays a critical role within a small team of 1-5 operators, responsible for running and monitoring production machinery to ensure efficient and quality output. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this role requires hands-on involvement with equipment setup and ongoing quality inspections to uphold manufacturing standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery including punch press equipment
- Set up and prepare equipment for production runs
- Conduct quality inspections to maintain product standards
- Monitor machines for proper function and address minor issues
- Collaborate effectively within a small team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in manufacturing or production environments
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic machine operation and quality control knowledge
- Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
- Commitment to safety compliance and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
