Systems Verification Scientist III
- Client develops innovative cell analysis tools that support research, drug discovery, biopharmaceutical production, and disease management.
- We are seeking a Systems Verification Scientist III to evaluate the performance of flow cytometry products and help ensure they meet product requirements and customer needs.
- This hands-on role combines laboratory testing, data analysis, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of a cross-functional product development team, you will:
- Design, plan, and conduct experiments to assess system performance and verify product requirements.
- Develop and execute test methods, strategies, and formal verification protocols.
- Analyze and interpret scientific data using engineering principles, statistical methods, and scientific theory.
- Communicate results, risks, and customer impact through reports, design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Lead small- to medium-sized protocols or initiatives, including project planning, risk-based test strategy development, and team coordination.
- Collaborate with systems, software, and other engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.
- Apply systems thinking, troubleshooting, and independent judgment to identify root causes and improve products and processes.
- Follow applicable design control, quality, biosafety, and workplace safety requirements.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in biology, immunology, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, integration, interfacing, and testing of complex systems.
- Ability to prepare and handle human blood, blood products, or other biological samples in a Biosafety Level 2 wet laboratory.
- Working knowledge of statistics and experience extracting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting scientific data.
- Ability to understand multidisciplinary systems involving optics, lasers, fluidics, electromechanical components, software, algorithms, biological samples, and immunology.
- Strong skills in systems thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $50-$54 per hour.
