Role Description The Server role at Mr T is a part-time, on-site position based in Los Angeles, CA. The Server will greet guests, present menus, answer questions about food and beverages, and provide recommendations as needed. Daily responsibilities include taking orders accurately, entering them into the POS system, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, serving food and drinks, and checking in with guests throughout their visit. The Server will process payments, handle cash and card transactions, maintain a clean and organized service area, and reset tables efficiently. This role also involves adhering to health and safety standards, supporting teammates during busy periods, and contributing to a positive, respectful workplace culture.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner.

Experience in table service, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and managing multiple tables efficiently.

Comfort using POS systems, handling payments accurately, and following cash-handling procedures.

Knowledge of basic food and beverage service, including menu components, dietary considerations, and responsible alcohol service.

Effective communication and active listening skills, with the ability to work well in a team and under pressure.

Attention to cleanliness and organization, following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or plates safely; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
