Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active California Mild/Moderate (M/M) Special Education Teaching Credential required
- Experience supporting positive student behaviors; school will provide CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training if needed
- Familiarity with or an eagerness to learn about mental health-focused teaching strategies
- Background in working with K-12 students in special education settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver individualized lesson plans in mild/moderate special education classrooms
- Foster a safe, supportive educational atmosphere, emphasizing mental health and student well-being
- Implement and reinforce positive behavioral interventions as part of daily instruction
- Collaborate closely with classroom staff, school counselors, and support personnel
- Track student progress and maintain accurate educational records
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training sessions

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
