Associated Health Professionals (AHP) is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for an exciting 8-week contract assignment at one of Los Angeles County's premier medical center.
Assignment Details:
- Department: Medical Surgical
- Contract Duration: 8-Week Assignment
- Shift: 12-hour (Day or Night shifts available)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Full-time; weekends and holidays required
- Location: Harbor-UCLA Medical Center – Torrance, CA
Responsibilities:
- Assessment: Monitor vital signs, labs, incisions, and patient recovery.
- Patient Care: Administer medications, IVs, wound care, and catheterization.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage patient care plans.
- Education: Provide patients and families with treatment and discharge instructions.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care, treatments, and responses in the EHR.
Requirements:
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute Medical Surgical experience
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Must be fully committed to completing the entire 8-week assignment
- Must successfully complete LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to the assignment start date
