Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Part-Time
Job Summary:
Newhall Avenue, a 99-bed facility in Newhall, California, offers exceptional care and support to residents with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. We are seeking a caring and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time position, working every weekend and/or part-time, on PM shift (3PM-11PM). Our CNA will provide exceptional care to our residents, assisting with activities of daily living, promoting quality services, and creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor
• Promote quality services within company, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:
• Current CA nursing assistant certification
• Current CPR and first aid certifications a plus
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, or in-patient rehabilitation or in-patient behavioral health setting
