Broke Before Christmas? 3 Weeks to Fix It - Travel Job
Job Description
Job Description
Colorado: work 60+ hours a week, housing covered, walk away with about $5K by Christmas.
Full pay scale
- 0-20 hours: $15/hr
- 20-30 hours: $17/hr
- 30-35 hours: $20/hr
- 35-40 hours: $23/hr
- 40-45 hours: $25/hr
- 45-50 hours: $28/hr
- 50-55 hours: $30/hr
- 55-60 hours: $33/hr
- 60-65 hours: $35/hr
- 65-70 hours: $37/hr
- 70+ hours: $40/hr
That's the easy version. Here's how it works:
- 60 hours a week at $33/hr = $1,980 a week
- Housing covered at 60+ hours
- 3 weeks through November 3 = about $5,900, or around $5K after your flight payback
The rate keeps climbing past 60 hours, up to $40/hr at 70+.
Now look at Texas.
Texas turf is DENSE. Houses are close together, so you stack doors fast, and you get $2.75 for every valid targeted door, whether or not anyone answers.
- 200 doors a day = $550 a day
- 6 days a week = $3,300 a week
- 3 weeks through November 3 = $9,900
That's $3,300 a week in Texas vs. $1,980 a week in Colorado. Even after you cover your own room, gas and food, Texas can put a lot more in your pocket.
When you get on your interview, ask about Texas.
THE JOB (SAME IN EVERY STATE)
- Knock assigned targeted doors.
- Wait at least 60 seconds at each door.
- Nobody home: log it, move on.
- They answer: a 3-5 question survey.
- Log everything in the app on-site.
- Work must pass GPS and QA checks.
No selling. No pitch. No close.
THE REAL TALK
- Flights and rental cars can be fronted as needed. They go on your ledger as stated in your contractor agreement and come out of your earnings.
- Texas: housing, gas and food are on you.
- Colorado: housing covered at 60+ hours a week. Gas and food are on you.
- We do not give advances. Come with enough to cover yourself until your first pay.
- 21+ can use a project rental where available. Under 21, bring your own car.
- Must pass a background check and have a smartphone with data.
ALSO HIRING: Ohio and Wisconsin at $2.75 per valid targeted door.
THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF
- You need an advance to get started.
- You think "travel job" means a free vacation.
- You don't want to knock doors all day.
The season ends November 3. Every day you wait is Christmas money you didn't make.
Apply now, send a voice note to jump the line, then watch your ZipRecruiter messages.
