Job Description

Experience a rewarding opportunity supporting students in an educational setting as a dedicated speech-language pathologist. We're seeking both full-time and part-time professionals motivated to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.

Three full-time openings are available, offering 40 hours per week from November through the end of the school year. There's also a unique part-time role at a middle school: 8 flexible hours a week for at least a month, starting immediately and running through the end of December. Flexible scheduling is available—the part-time hours do not need to be completed in one day, making it a perfect fit for professionals seeking additional work or alternative hours.

Hourly rates range from $60 to $70, reflecting your expertise and the vital impact you will make.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license for California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Prior experience within a school setting is preferred
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and staff
  • Comprehensive knowledge of assessment, development, and implementation of IEPs
  • Dedication to fostering student growth and promoting positive learning environments

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students exhibiting speech, language, and communication difficulties
  • Develop and manage individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions individually or in groups
  • Document student progress, maintain records, and prepare reports in accordance with district standards
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student success

If you're ready to utilize your skills to empower students and partner with an engaged, caring community, we encourage you to apply today. Your expertise can help transform communication challenges into stepping stones for achievement—take the next step in your speech-language pathology career!
