We are a well-established provider of quality healthcare to the local, ethnically diverse community of Artesia/Cerritos for the past 35 years. We are looking for an M.D.or D.O. to join our practice as a Primary Care Provider. We would love to hear from you!
Job responsibilities include:
- Provide all necessary Primary Care Physician services within scope of license.
- Complete documentation related to provision of medical care through Electronic Medical Record.
- Assess and refer high risk patients.
- Promote healthy lifestyles by advising patients on diet, hygiene and disease prevention.
- Conduct medical evaluations for patients across the lifespan including infants, children, woman wellness exam and the elderly.
- Examine and analyze patient records, including allergies, medications, immunization status, and detailed medical histories.
- Conduct physical examinations, document findings, and diagnose medical conditions.
- Administer, order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging.
- Perform preventive and therapeutic procedures, including immunizations, injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
Must Have:
- Current license to practice medicine in California
- Current California DEA certificate
- Board-certified or board-eligible in family medicine
- Hindi or Punjabi speaking a major Plus!
