Job DescriptionShipping & Receiving Clerk – 2nd Shift
We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a manufacturing company in Huntington Beach. This position will handle shipping and receiving activities, inventory control, order fulfillment, and the movement of materials throughout the facility.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM–11:00 PM
Shift: 2nd Shift
Job Responsibilities

Pack orders and prepare shipments for UPS and freight carriers.

Prepare shipping documents and schedule freight pickups.

Prepare and package products, parts, and materials for shipment.

Pick parts and products to fulfill orders.
-
Receive, inspect, and document incoming freight.

Verify and process receipts from suppliers.
-
Assist with resolving damaged shipments and freight claims.

Stock inventory received from assembly personnel.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock items.

Perform cycle counts and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies.

Complete inventory transactions for receiving and issuing materials.

Request freight quotes and select cost-effective shipping methods based on customer requirements.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move and load/unload materials.

Use shipping and inventory software systems.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
-
Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Forklift operating experience required.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good problem-solving and organizational skills.

Reliable and dependable.

Ability to follow safety procedures and use required PPE.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift and move products and materials as needed.

Ability to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
