This position is available immediately. We are actively hiring and looking for a qualified Security Officer who is ready to start as soon as possible.
A Premier Security & Risk Mitigation Services Provider in Orange County
We are looking for an experienced Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both armed and unarmed conflict and be responsible for our client's safety and Security. The Security Officer will report directly to an on duty supervisor and must be capable of working under pressure during high-stress situations. The successful candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail and regularly document their activities.
Requirements
- Guard Card (Required}
- Previous security experience (Preferred)
- Patrol experience (Preferred)
- Report writing skills ( Preferred)
- Experience conducting vehicle and/or foot patrols
- Ability to accurately document incidents, activities, and observations
- Traffic control
- Enforce security policies and procedures.
- Document emergency notifications.
- Coordinate response to threats or incidents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned properties
- Complete accurate D.A.R. (Daily Activity Reports) and incident reports
- Monitor and document suspicious activity, incidents, and safety concerns
- Enforce site security policies and procedures
- Perform traffic control as assigned
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies
- Coordinate with supervisors, clients, law enforcement, and emergency personnel when necessary
- Maintain a professional and courteous presence at all times
- Conduct security checks and ensure the safety of the assigned property
Schedule:
- Night shift/ Weekends
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Basic Computer Skills (Required)
- California BSIS Security Guard Registration (Guard Card) -Required
- Valid California Driver’s License (Required)
- Additional permits and certifications are a plus
