Laboratory Assistant – Clinical Laboratory – Willits, CA - URGENT

Shift: Variable – 5x8s
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Start Time: As early as 5:30 AM
End Time: As late as 10:30 PM
Call: No Call
Weekend: Every Other Weekend
Weekly Pay: $1,700–$1,800/week
Position Details
-
Collects blood specimens and processes laboratory specimens
-
Receives, sorts, and accessions specimens
-
Performs phlebotomy and specimen handling
-
Completes patient registration and laboratory order entry
-
Prepares specimens for internal and reference laboratory testing
-
Maintains specimen integrity and laboratory workflow
-
Performs basic pre-analytic and post-analytic laboratory duties

EPIC experience – REQUIRED

CPT I – REQUIRED

BLS/CPR – REQUIRED

Minimum 5 years of experience – REQUIRED

Every other weekend

Day shifts may include:

5:30 AM start

7:00 AM–3:30 PM

7:30 AM–4:00 PM

12:00 PM–8:30 PM (Micro)

2:00 PM–10:30 PM

Night coverage may extend to approximately 10:00 PM–8:00 AM
Requirements
-
Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT I) – Required
-
BLS/CPR – Required
-
Minimum 5 years of experience
-
Recent acute-care phlebotomy/laboratory experience
-
EPIC experience – REQUIRED
-
High School Diploma/GED required
-
Associate/Technical degree preferred
