NOW HIRING: Train Seat Upholstery Technician – Natomas/Sacramento, CA!
Looking for your next opportunity in manufacturing? We’re hiring 1 Upholstery Technician to help produce comfortable, durable seating for the rail transportation industry!
In this hands-on role, you’ll contribute to the production of train seats by assisting with upholstery and seat assembly processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, performing physical tasks, and being part of a manufacturing team.
Location: Natomas/Sacramento, CA
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Assist with upholstery and production tasks related to train seating.
- Handle, position, and manipulate materials and components during the manufacturing process.
- Demonstrate the physical strength needed to grasp, lift, push, pull, and manipulate objects.
- Work safely and efficiently in a factory environment.
- Maintain dependability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Required Dress Code
Candidates must wear appropriate clothing for walking and working on a factory floor, including hard-toed, slip-resistant shoes and appropriate pants.
IMPORTANT: Mandatory Overtime
Please review the overtime expectations carefully before applying.
The current production schedule includes significant mandatory overtime, which may include:
- Monday–Friday: Up to 2 additional hours per day.
- Saturdays: Up to 8 additional hours.
If a prior commitment prevents you from working scheduled overtime, at least 5 business days’ advance notice is required.
Candidates must be comfortable with these overtime expectations to be considered for the position.
