Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary and middle school students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and allied professionals to support student success.
  • Deliver all services onsite, ensuring direct, hands-on intervention.
  • Communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student progress and therapeutic recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active California SLP license required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) necessary.
  • Previous experience with school-based caseloads, especially at the elementary and/or middle school level.
  • Strong ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills.
  • SLPA credentials are not accepted for this position; active SLP licensure is mandatory.
  • Must be able to begin as soon as possible and commit through June 10, 2027.
  • Willingness to travel between two designated school sites as part of the assignment.
