Medical Assistant – Pediatric Practice
Location: Los Gatos, CA (near Good Samaritan Hospital)
Part-time or Full-time, medical assistant needed to join our pediatric practice. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with both front- and back-office workflows.
Applicants should enjoy working with children and be comfortable in a small, collaborative clinic environment.
Pay: Around $22/hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
· Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, take messages
· Document patient information in the EPIC EHR
· Collect co-payment, update insurance information
· Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical history
· Prepare exam rooms
· Administer IM and SQ pediatric vaccines
Requirements
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· 6 months of Pediatric clinic experience preferred
· Medical Assistant certification preferred
· EPIC EHR experience preferred
· References in clinical setting
· We use UCSF EPIC Medical Software as EHR
