We are looking for a provider to work our 4-hour Urgent Care Saturday shift twice a month in Simi Valley, CA.
Schedule
- 2 Bi-weekly Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm starting October 31st
- Additional backup shifts may be available as needed
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat urgent care patients
- Perform physical examinations and develop treatment plans
- Treat common illnesses and minor injuries
- Perform procedures, including suturing
- Provide occupational medicine services
- Evaluate and manage Workers’ Compensation cases
- Complete work-related physicals and other occupational health evaluations
- Provide quality, patient-centered care in a busy walk-in clinic
Requirements
- Active California NP, PA, or MD/DO license
- Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, or occupational medicine experience required
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced urgent care setting
- Proficient in suturing and common urgent care procedures
- Experience with Workers’ Compensation cases
- Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills
- Reliable and dependable
DOT/FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner is a plus!
Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience and credentials. pay range $85-$100
This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for limited part-time hours with the opportunity for additional backup shifts at an established urgent care and occupational medicine clinic.
