Jobsource is Hiring for Bakers to join our warehouse production team in the city of Garden Grove, CA!
This role focuses on the preparation and baking of fresh baguettes.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
*Must have recent work experience as a baker*
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mix dough according to company recipes for Vietnamese-style baguettes
- Shape, proof, and bake baguettes using commercial bakery equipment
- Operate mixers, proofers, and industrial ovens safely and efficiently
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality and consistency
- Assist with cooling, packaging, and staging baked baguettes for delivery to store locations
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and production area
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and warehouse safety procedures
- Work with the warehouse production team to meet daily baking and distribution goals
Qualifications:
- Previous baking or food production experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Pay: $16.90/hr
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Early morning
- 4:30AM
Work Environment:
- Warehouse bakery production facility
- Exposure to heat from ovens and baking equipment
