Job DescriptionMaintenance Electrician Sr (Temp-to-Hire) — Aerospace Manufacturing
Position: Maintenance Electrician Sr
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (plus overtime)
Location: South Bay
Pay: Up to $40/hr (DOE)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment (pumps, motors, production machinery, facility systems)
- Maintain/repair systems including cranes/hoists, hydraulic systems, and steam generators
- Install new equipment; run conduit; perform electrical layout per NEC
- Use electrical meters and conventional power tools
- Operate forklift and aerial/scissor lifts
- Support emergency maintenance needs; work with minimal supervision and help train junior electricians/helpers.
Requirements
- 5+ years maintenance electrician/mechanical maintenance experience (or equivalent training)
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems and frequency inverters/VFDs.
- Working knowledge of NEC (industrial applications), control systems, and HVAC-related equipment
- Basic plumbing required; welding and soldering ability
- HS diploma/GED
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
