American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an acute care hospital, requiring 1+ years of experience, ARRT (R) certification, and CA licensure.

- Acute care hospital setting with 150 staffed beds
- X-Ray Tech unit supporting Radiology and Cardiology services
- 5x8-hour day shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, weekdays
- On-call requirement
- Must be willing to float between like units and sister facilities as needed
- Uses Epic for charting
- Uses GE and Toshiba imaging equipment along with PACS and Fuji Synapse

Requirements\n
- \n
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
- CA license and Fluoroscopy certification required (license required if applicable)
- Community hospital experience required
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Skilled in general radiographic procedures including chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, and extremity imaging
- Experience with fluoroscopy studies such as barium swallow, upper GI series, and contrast enema
- Experience with mobile/surgical imaging including C-arm procedures and portable chest/abdomen studies
- Ability to prepare and/or administer contrast media
- Peripheral IV starting skills preferred
- Experience in Adult Acute Care and Emergency Department settings; Adult Outpatient experience preferred

- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across radiology and cardiology services
- Black scrub color required for Radiology staff
- First-time travelers accepted for this role
- Local candidates accepted, though a 50-mile radius rule applies for local bill rate eligibility
- Former Providence facility employees may return as travelers after a 3-month break, provided they reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application for consideration
- Candidates must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of relevant experience within the last 3 years are required
