Connect Staffing is hiring a Converting Operator/ General Labor for a vinyl graphics and converting manufacturing facility in Placentia, CA. This is a temp-to-hire overnight position paying $20/hr. In this role, you will assemble boxes for shop orders, pack finished goods, and assist slitter operators in the converting department. This is a long-term opportunity with overtime available.

Pay:$20/hr

Schedule:10:00 PM – 6:30 AM; must be available Saturday/Sunday; days off vary

Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes using a box making machine to fulfill shop orders in the converting department.
• Pack finished goods with labels and required materials for outbound shipment.
• Locate and stage raw materials needed for packaging operations.
• Assist slitter operators with converting department tasks as directed.
• Use an RF scanner to locate and track materials throughout the facility.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, production, or converting environment.
• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating or assisting with slitter machines or similar converting equipment.
• Familiarity with box making machines or packaging equipment.
• Experience in a vinyl, film, label, or flexible materials manufacturing environment.
• Experience using RF scanners for material tracking or inventory.
• Experience packing, labeling, or staging finished goods for shipment.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (E-Verify).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to work at a fast pace throughout the shift.
• Steel toe boots required (employee-provided).
