Registered Nurse - Geriatric in Templeton, CA. Start date 11/09/2026 for a 10-week travel assignment. Weekly pay $1,960–$1,970 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is night shift on a 3x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Practice setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This is a travel, temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric patients on the medical-surgical floor, maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, detect clinical changes, and respond to urgent needs.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy per physician orders; ensure accurate dosing and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other members of the care team to develop and update care plans; participate in discharge planning.
- Document care, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (Epic) with accuracy and timeliness.
- Uphold infection control, safety, and fall-prevention protocols; respond promptly to code scenarios and emergencies.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of California (state of assignment)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in a hospital setting, with geriatric/med-surgical exposure preferred
- Epic electronic medical record experience
- Ability to work the listed night shift and perform 12-hour shifts on a 3x12 schedule
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced short-term acute care environment
