This full-time, contract opportunity spans the entire school year and is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are confident in their skills and committed to student success. Two positions are available, so you’ll benefit from the camaraderie of a fellow SLP while collaborating closely with educational teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain before start date
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication abilities
- Ability to foster supportive relationships with students, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide timely reports according to school requirements
- Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions addressing articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic language skills
- Consult with teachers and staff to support effective classroom strategies and modifications
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
