About the role

\n

As an Electrical Engineer on our battery team, you'll own the electrical architecture of advanced lithium-ion systems - from schematics and hardware selection through thermal analysis, validation, and launch - for customers across automotive, aerospace, renewable energy, and industrial markets.

\n

\n

What you'll do

\n

    \n
  • Define high- and low-voltage distribution, interfaces, and protection systems for battery packs
  • \n

  • Own schematic design - sensors, contactors, fuses, connectors, harnesses, and control electronics
  • \n

  • Select and integrate electronics hardware (current sensors, power electronics, microcontrollers) for safety, performance, and manufacturability
  • \n

  • Perform thermal and power dissipation analysis across environmental and load conditions
  • \n

  • Support circuit design, simulation, and bench testing for measurement, control, and protection
  • \n

  • Drive safety and compliance — DFMEA, functional safety (ISO 26262 or equivalent), UL
  • \n

  • Partner with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams, and present findings to customers and leadership
  • \n

\n

What you bring

\n

    \n
  • 3+ years of system-level design for lithium-ion battery packs or related electrical systems
  • \n

  • 4+ years of engineering experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial sectors
  • \n

  • Strong electrical system design and schematic capture skills
  • \n

  • Knowledge of thermal management, power dissipation, HV/LV component integration
  • \n

  • Familiarity with HV safety standards, EMC/EMI, grounding/shielding
  • \n

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • \n

\n

\n

Preferred

\n

MS/PhD in EE; hands-on BMS, control algorithms, or embedded electronics; ISO 26262; project leadership; battery modeling.
