Job Description

Office Coordinator

$24–$27/hour | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Are you organized, dependable, and comfortable jumping between different administrative responsibilities depending on what the day requires?

BDI is looking for an Office Coordinator to join our Corporate Team and provide hands-on administrative support to our branch locations. You’ll help wherever support is needed—from scheduling and day-to-day office functions to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and reporting.

A key part of this position will be providing ongoing scheduling support for one of our branch locations, so we’re looking for someone who can keep details straight, communicate clearly, and adjust when schedules or priorities change.

This isn’t a role where every day will look exactly the same. You’ll work with branch teams and Corporate staff, step in where additional help is needed, and help keep things moving when a location is busy or needs additional support.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative support to BDI branch locations based on operational needs
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination for one of our branch locations
  • Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, reporting, and other branch administrative functions
  • Work with branch administrative staff to help maintain accurate and consistent processes
  • Assist branch leadership and Corporate Finance with day-to-day administrative needs
  • Help answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and follow through until they’re resolved
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance records
  • Coordinate with employees, vendors, and other departments as needed
  • Handle visitors and incoming calls professionally
  • Occasional travel to BDI branch locations may be needed for training and administrative support

You’ll Be Great at This If You...

  • Are highly organized and naturally keep track of details
  • Can shift between different responsibilities without losing follow-through
  • Stay calm and professional when schedules or priorities change
  • Enjoy being the person who can jump in, figure out what’s needed, and help
  • Communicate clearly with branch employees, managers, customers, and Corporate staff
  • Are comfortable working with schedules, numbers, paperwork, and administrative systems
  • Take ownership and don’t need someone reminding you twice
  • Can learn how different branch functions work and provide reliable support when needed
  • Work well independently while still being a team player

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in office administration, scheduling, accounting support, or a similar role is valuable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with Kronos, DIR, Alteryx, SharePoint, or Power BI is a plus
  • Valid California Driver’s License required
