Job Summary\n
We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in acute care inpatient case management to join a leading hospital in California. In this high-impact role, you'll partner closely with the Director of Nursing to improve patient flow, reduce length of stay, and support hospital throughput initiatives.

Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Conduct daily inpatient rounds with the interdisciplinary care team
- Perform concurrent medical necessity reviews using InterQual and/or Milliman
- Coordinate discharge planning and identify barriers to timely discharge
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, social workers, and ancillary departments
- Escalate complex cases impacting patient throughput and length of stay
- Ensure compliance with utilization management and documentation standards
- Support quality improvement and cost-containment initiatives

Requirements\n
- \n
- Active California RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience (within the last 3 years)
- Recent Inpatient Case Management experience required
- Strong discharge planning and care coordination experience
- Experience performing concurrent medical necessity reviews using InterQual or Milliman
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Previous experience in managed care or an integrated delivery system strongly preferred
- Current BLS Certification
