Direct Counsel is seeking a Technology Associate Attorney to join a leading global law firm.

Locations: Los Angeles, California; San Francisco, California; Santa Monica, California; Silicon Valley, California

Position Overview

The attorney will join the firm's Technology group and represent technology companies across a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, and private and public offerings.

Responsibilities

• Represent technology companies in sophisticated corporate and transactional matters
• Advise clients on early- and late-stage venture financings
• Support mergers and acquisitions
• Assist with private and public offerings
• Work collaboratively on transactions while independently managing substantial components of matters
• Develop strong client relationships and provide strategic transactional counsel

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate and transactional law
• Experience representing technology companies
• Experience with a broad range of corporate and transactional matters
• Experience with early- and late-stage venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, and/or private and public offerings
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently manage substantial components of transactions
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Comparable law firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
• Deal sheet required

Compensation

$260,000–$365,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
