Job DescriptionDescription:
Assists and encourages residents in developing self reliance in activities of daily living
Assists residents with chores and scheduled activities
Is continuously ready to assist residents in area of need
Assists with meal preparation
Assists with coordination and supervision of special events and activities at residence and in the
community
Documents significant issues or occurrences
Performs housekeeping duties as necessary to keep the facility clean and orderly
Other related duties as assigned
Schedule may vary based on operational needs.
Requirements:
21 years or older
Department of Justice fingerprint clearance
Health screening and TB Test clearance
Current First Aid Certification
CPR Certification prior to starting employment.
Valid California Driver's License
Acceptable driving record
State minimum required automobile insurance
Ability to read and implement program policies and procedures
Good role model for residents
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience supervising / working with adults with developmental disabilities
