Position Summary

LCE Telecom is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Commercial Driver Class A to join our team. This position is responsible for safely operating company commercial vehicles to transport equipment, materials, tools, and other company assets to job sites and company locations.

The ideal candidate has a strong driving record, takes pride in maintaining company equipment, and understands the importance of safety, communication, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company commercial vehicles in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Transport equipment, materials, tools, and supplies to and from job sites.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure loads are properly secured before transportation.
• Maintain accurate driving, inspection, delivery, and other required records.
• Follow all DOT requirements and company safety policies applicable to the position.
• Report vehicle damage, mechanical concerns, accidents, citations, or safety issues immediately.
• Maintain company vehicles in a clean and professional condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors job-site needs.
• Follow company procedures regarding vehicle use, fuel, maintenance, and inspections.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment when required.
• Travel to various job sites as needed.
• Maintain professional and courteous conduct when representing LCE Telecom at customer and job-site locations.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver's license appropriate for the class of vehicle being operated.
• Valid CDL A required if operating vehicles that require a Commercial Driver's License.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT and company driver qualification requirements.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and California traffic regulations.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles preferred.
• Ability to safely load, secure, and unload equipment and materials.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to use GPS, mobile applications, and electronic communication for work assignments.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs.
• Must be able to travel throughout California as required.

Physical Requirements

The position may require prolonged periods of driving, entering and exiting commercial vehicles, lifting and moving equipment or materials, and working outdoors at job sites in varying weather conditions. Candidates must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
