ATS Company is seeking a Product Engineer to help design, build, and improve products that deliver real value to customers in a fast-paced environment.
Position Summary
As a Product Engineer, you will contribute to the end-to-end development of product features—from technical design through implementation, testing, and iterative improvement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to translate requirements into reliable solutions and continuously enhance the user experience.
In this onsite role in Mountain View, CA, you will take ownership of engineering work while maintaining high standards for quality, maintainability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement product features, working from technical requirements through deployment

Build and refine APIs, services, and components that support product capabilities and scalability

Write and maintain tests to ensure quality, reliability, and confident releases

Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to clarify needs, assess tradeoffs, and deliver on priorities

Monitor system behavior and contribute to performance improvements and incident resolution as needed
Required Qualifications

Experience delivering production software as part of a collaborative engineering team

Strong fundamentals in software design, debugging, and troubleshooting complex issues

Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions and maintain clear technical documentation

Proficiency with version control workflows and disciplined development practices

Demonstrated commitment to quality through testing, code review, and attention to maintainability
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with designing scalable, reliable systems and managing service performance

Experience working across the full development lifecycle, including deployment and operational support

Strong collaboration skills with product, design, and other engineering teammates

Prior experience improving developer and release workflows to increase team efficiency
