The Cycle Counter plays a vital role within our distribution center by performing daily physical inventory counts and ensuring accuracy between physical stock and system data. This project-based role, reporting to the Operations Manager, requires thorough data research and adherence to inventory control procedures using inventory management software to maintain precise and reliable inventory records.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily physical inventory counts and compare results with system data
- Research and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records
- Maintain accurate inventory count records and data files
- Adhere strictly to cycle counting procedures and company guidelines
- Communicate findings and discrepancies to responsible inventory personnel
- Investigate origin of discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support inventory control
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in inventory management
