We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary program for a new upscale restaurant opening. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will provide full pre-opening leadership and oversee menu and kitchen setup, hiring and training, vendor and equipment coordination, and ongoing culinary operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the restaurant’s menu and culinary vision.
- Lead menu and kitchen setup during the restaurant opening.
- Oversee kitchen leadership, culinary operations, and service coordination.
- Maintain consistent food quality and uphold food safety standards.
- Manage recipe costing, budgets, inventory control, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate vendors and equipment for the pre-opening process.
- Hire, train, and develop culinary staff.
- Provide full pre-opening leadership through launch.
- Must have upscale restaurant, banquets and catering experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in executive culinary management.
- Culinary degree or diploma.
