Summary

A growing design-build construction firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a strong pipeline of ground-up, residential projects.

This is an opportunity to join a modern, technology-driven builder that brings design, construction, and project management together under one team. The Project Manager will oversee multiple active projects, with a strong focus on subcontractor management, procurement, scheduling, cost control, and quality.

This is a great fit for someone coming from luxury residential, custom home, spec home, or similar ground-up construction who enjoys a fast-moving environment and wants to be part of a company actively scaling its project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple active residential projects and assigned trade scopes
  • Lead subcontractor bidding, buyout, scope development, and procurement
  • Coordinate trade sequencing, manpower, inspections, materials, and lead times
  • Develop and manage short-term look-ahead schedules to maintain project milestones
  • Track budgets, commitments, cost-to-complete, variances, and change impacts
  • Work closely with field leadership to identify and resolve schedule and construction issues
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, drawings, and project documentation through Procore
  • Lead project coordination meetings and hold subcontractors accountable to commitments
  • Identify constructability, cost, and schedule risks early and develop solutions
  • Support consistent quality standards while minimizing rework and schedule delays

Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction project management experience
  • Strong background in ground-up custom, luxury, or high-end residential construction preferred
  • Strong subcontractor management, bidding, buyout, and procurement experience
  • Strong understanding of project budgets, cost control, and construction scheduling
  • Procore or comparable construction management software experience required
  • Ability to read and coordinate architectural and structural drawings
  • Experience working with BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, or model-based construction workflows preferred
  • Strong Excel and scheduling software proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
