Maintenance Supervisor (Contract to Hire)
Location: City of Industry, CA (100% onsite)
Schedule: Day Shift
Duration: 6+ month contract with strong potential to convert
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $48.79/hr
- Weekly pay

Overview
This role supports a large, high-volume food and beverage manufacturing facility focused on producing plant-based beverages, coffee products, and creamers in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment .
You will act as a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor, supporting the Reliability Leader in driving execution across planned and unplanned maintenance. This includes leading technicians, improving uptime, and ensuring maintenance systems are running effectively.
This is a leadership role that requires both technical depth and the ability to lead from the floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support maintenance technicians across daily operations
- Coordinate planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance work
- Ensure all work orders are completed and closed properly in CMMS
- Drive execution of preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Support breakdown response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Partner with operations, quality, and sanitation to maintain uptime
- Track maintenance performance metrics including:
- PM completion
- Breakdown reduction
- Labor utilization
- Schedule execution
- Assist with maintenance planning and scheduling across short and long-term cycles
- Support development and coaching of maintenance team members
- Maintain compliance with safety, GMP, and plant procedures
Required Experience
- 3+ years in maintenance leadership, lead, or supervisor role
- Strong background in industrial maintenance within manufacturing
- Experience with:
- Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- High-speed production equipment
- CMMS systems and work order management
- Experience with preventative maintenance and reliability programs
- Ability to troubleshoot and lead teams through breakdown scenarios
Preferred Experience
- Food and beverage or regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling (MP&S)
- Exposure to reliability metrics and continuous improvement programs
- Experience supporting cross-functional plant operations
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing setting
- Exposure to:
- Wet, cold, and hot conditions
- Moving mechanical equipment
- Elevated work areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended hours when needed
