Special Education Paraprofessional – School-Based | Redding, CA

ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced and dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional for a school-based opportunity in Redding, California. This position is ideal for a candidate who has professional experience working with students with special needs and is comfortable providing academic, behavioral, and day-to-day classroom support.

The Special Education Paraprofessional will collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other school professionals to help students successfully participate in their educational environment.

Position Details:

School-based Special Education Paraprofessional
Location: Redding, CA
Provide direct support to students with special needs
Assist with academic, behavioral, and classroom needs
Provide individual and/or small-group student support as assigned
Collaborate with teachers and members of the Special Education team
Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

At least one year of professional, in-school experience is required
Behavior safety training is required
Previous experience working with students with special needs
Comfortable providing behavioral and classroom support
Strong communication and collaboration skills
