Job DescriptionKimco Staffing is currently seeking for a Purchasing Coordinator in Rancho Cucamonga!
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00PM (OT as needed)
Pay Rate: $20/Hr. to $22/Hr. (DOE)
Job Responsibilities :
- Schedule vendor deliveries with carriers for both warehouses taking into account total trucks by day and warehouse receiving hours. Update the PO dates on the schedule and in our ERP system. Communicate changes to buyers and the warehouse. Follow up regularly without being prompted on PO’s that do not have delivery appointments.
- Work with the warehouse on inventory discrepancies, cycle counts and PO receiving issues.
- Proof PO paperwork against what we received and what we ordered.
- Review product date codes and advise the buyers on short dated inventory.
- Complete damage, overage, and shortage claims when necessary. Communicate via email with the manufacturer and accounting to resolve any issues.
- Schedule transfers between the two warehouses. Enter the transfer quantities from excel into the system. Contact the carrier to arrange transportation.
- Process vendor returns on a monthly basis.
- Generate vendor return reports as supporting documentation to the RTV’s you are processing.
- Work with customer service to ensure we have accurate reasons why the product was returned.
- Work with the warehouse on making needed inventory adjustments.
- Submit this information to the vendors on a monthly basis with written explanation for changes in the amount of returns processed.
Requirements:
-Must be comfortable using Excel on a regular basis in a business setting
-Strong written communication skills as this role involves a high volume of daily correspondence
-Prior Experience with Reporting, and Analysis
-Detail Oriented
-ERP System Experience Recommended
-Must be able to Pass a Background Check & Drug Screen
