Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a paraprofessional supporting elementary through high school students. You'll play a vital role as a 1:1 aide or provide classroom support, empowering students in both general and special education settings. Desired Background and Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in a school setting as a paraprofessional, or background in ABA in schools, clinics, or in-home environments
- High school diploma or higher education required
- Experience working with both general and special education students effective communication and a compassionate approach to student support
- Adaptability to assist both individual students and full classrooms
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with students, either 1:1 or as a classroom aide, delivering instructional and transition support
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers to address diverse student needs
- Support daily routines and ensure students’ engagement and safety throughout the school day
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning for all
- Assist students with academics as well as with transitions between activities, lunch periods, and other aspects of their educational experience
Position Details:
- Start Date: September 2, 2026 | End Date: May 21, 2027
- 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday
- Direct interaction with elementary to high school students, with varying caseloads from 1:1 support to full classroom assistance
- Hourly compensation of $25, paid weekly
