A rewarding opportunity is available for 1-2 pharmacists to provide expert care in an outpatient infusion setting in Visalia, CA. This contract role offers a chance to contribute to a healthcare system’s oncologic pharmacy services with a potential to convert to a permanent position after 13 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinic pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Prepare and dispense complex chemotherapy and biologic medications accurately
- Deliver direct clinical care and patient education to individuals receiving cancer treatments in an ambulatory setting
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes and patient safety
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid California Pharmacist license is required
- Completed PGY-1 residency or a minimum of two years of clinical pharmacist experience
- Experience in outpatient oncology pharmacy is highly preferred but not mandatory
Location:
- Visalia, CA
Schedule:
- Day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week
