About the Role:
Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team in Sacramento, CA. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact during the most formative stage of a child's development in a warm, child-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, loving care for infants in a safe and stimulating Montessori-inspired classroom environment
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Observe and document infant milestones, behaviors, and daily activities for parent communication
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom that meets health and safety regulations
  • Build trusting relationships with families through consistent, open communication
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning community
  • Follow daily infant care routines including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE), infant/toddler units preferred
  • Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
  • Knowledge of or interest in Montessori philosophy and child-led learning
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Fingerprint clearance
