Job Title: Pharmacist

Job Location: Orofino, ID

Duration: 13 Weeks

Compensation:

  • Travel: $2,800–$3,000 Gross Weekly (Based on Experience)
  • Local: $70–$75/hour (Based on Experience)

Shift: Variable Shifts

Schedule:

  • Variable 8-Hour Shifts
  • Every Other Weekend Required

Position Type: Contract

Work Setting: Onsite

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist to provide safe, accurate, and effective medication services in a community pharmacy setting. The Pharmacist will be responsible for prescription review and dispensing, patient counseling, medication management, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, potential drug interactions, contraindications, and appropriateness.
  • Provide medication counseling and education to patients and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records, documentation, and patient profiles.
  • Monitor medication safety and ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations.
  • Follow established pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Provide professional and compassionate customer service.
  • Work variable 8-hour shifts based on operational needs.
  • Participate in weekend coverage, including every other weekend.

Required Qualifications Education

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or equivalent pharmacy degree from an accredited program.

Licensure

  • Active Pharmacist license required.
  • Must meet all applicable state licensing and regulatory requirements.

Experience & Skills

  • Previous retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of prescription medications, drug interactions, and medication safety.
  • Excellent patient counseling and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
