We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day field operations of multifamily construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ground-up multifamily construction, mixed-use developments, apartment communities, and/or multifamily renovations.
\n
This individual will be responsible for managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily on-site construction activities for multifamily projects, including ground-up construction and renovations.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Ensure construction activities align with project schedules, budgets, plans, and specifications.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, architects, and owners to resolve field-related issues.
- Manage project scheduling, sequencing, logistics, and material deliveries.
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals.
- Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Oversee inspections, punch lists, quality control, and project closeout.
- Identify potential project delays and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and construction documentation.

Qualifications
\n

- 5+ years of construction superintendent experience, preferably in multifamily construction.
- Proven experience managing ground-up apartment developments, mixed-use projects, or multifamily renovations.
- Strong understanding of wood-frame, podium, Type III, and Type V construction.
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating complex construction schedules.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, OSHA regulations, and construction safety practices.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage projects independently while maintaining strong communication with project leadership.

- Ground-up multifamily developments ranging from 100–500+ units.
- Type III and Type V wood-frame construction.
- Wrap, podium, garden-style, and mid-rise apartment communities.
- Mixed-use residential and commercial developments.
- Multifamily renovations, occupied renovations, and repositioning projects.
- Experience working with established general contractors or owner-builders/developers.
