As a Tax Preparer, you’ll help individuals navigate tax filing with accurate, timely preparation and clear communication. You’ll review tax documents, apply relevant tax law and compliance requirements, and use tax preparation and accounting software to support reliable tax reporting. This seasonal role suits someone who combines strong accounting skills with attentive customer service.
Responsibilities

Prepare individual returns; review supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.

Apply tax compliance requirements and relevant tax law, using sound analysis, math, and financial concepts.

Communicate with clients to clarify information, explain filing needs, and support a smooth preparation process.

Use ProConnect tax preparation software and TaxDome client management software; maintain accurate records and follow workpaper guidelines.

Your impact: Accurate returns and responsive client communication help individuals meet filing obligations with confidence.
Qualifications

3+ years tax experience and tax return preparation.

Knowledge of tax documents, tax reporting, individual tax

Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software; Proconnect tax preparation software experience is preferred but not a requirement.

Strong customer service, client communication, analysis, math, and 10-key typing skills.
