Connect Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate and Local Delivery Driver for a battery distribution and warehouse company in Los Angeles, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $20–$23/hr depending on experience, Monday through Friday. In this role, you will pull and stock product, load and unload trucks using a forklift and pallet jack, run local deliveries throughout the greater LA area, and perform battery installation, testing, and charging. You will also assist the front office by answering phones, using a computer to look up pricing, and communicating with customers via email. The pay range reflects real variation based on your experience, so stronger backgrounds are rewarded.
Pay: $20–$23/hr (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

Responsibilities
- Drive company vans, SUVs, and flatbed trucks to make local deliveries throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
- Operate a sit-down forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck to receive, move, and stage product in the warehouse.
- Install, test, and charge batteries at customer locations and in the warehouse.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory to keep product accessible and accurately placed.
- Keep the warehouse clean and orderly, including occasional tidying of office areas.
- Answer phones, look up pricing, and respond to customer inquiries by email when not on warehouse or delivery duties.
Minimum Requirements
- 1+ year of warehouse, delivery, or distribution experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with battery installation, testing, or charging — automotive, industrial, or commercial.
- Familiarity driving flatbed trucks or larger commercial vans in an urban delivery environment.
- Basic computer skills: looking up pricing, responding to emails, using inventory or ordering systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish — helpful for customer and team communication.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Background in automotive parts, electrical supply, or industrial distribution.

Pre-Employment Requirements
- Valid driver's license required — driving is a core job duty.
- Clean driving record — MVR check required.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Drug screen required.

- Forklift certification (sit-down forklift).
